Under 12 Junior South Tipperary League 2011 | 09/Oct/2011 | (No Expiry Date) | There was joyous celebration by the younger members of the County last weekend when the under 12 Junior South Tipperary League team acquitted themselves with honours at Larkspur on Sunday. They competed in four matches to reach the final against Hillview which they valiantly battled, taking their opponents to a Draw, then a Super-Tie Break before they were finally narrowly edged into Runners-up position. The team comprised Sophie Hayes, Irene Flynn, Edward Nolan and Gavin Ryan with their main supporter, and mascot, Ella Flynn. They distinguished their club, and were keen to wish their older counterparts on the Under 14 team well for their forthcoming matches in Clonmel at the weekend.
